Two Thousand Twelve. It aint the end of the world yet!

Hi blog! Its been a year since my last post. I do miss you and have brought tons of stories to tell of how was my 2012.

I started my 2012 with fulfilling my dream. Guess what, KATY PERRY went here in January of 2012 for her  “Manila Dreams Tour”.  Yes, I was able to attend her concert, watched her and saw her perform live. It was really a dream come true.

It was a never forget experience for me  that day, not just because I was able to see Katy Perry but me and my boyfriend had a huge fight before the concert began and I was having a trouble with my DSLR, because I couldn’t get inside the concert with my DSLR. God is so good, he never let me down, I saw a friend outside the concert and I left him my camera and got it back after the concert. J See, God is abundant even in need.

On February, my boyfriend had a trip. Our first ever out of town trip  in celebration of our anniversary. We went to Subic for the weekend and went back on Sunday afternoon to watch the Pyro olympics.

I was reunited with my former Team. They invited me to their Summer Getaway in Batangas. I miss these people from the morning shift and had so much fun to be with them once again. But while i was on vacation with them, got a call from my mother that my lola passed away. I had to be on emergency leave to be with my family.

Believe it or not, I was engaged in running. Yes, I joined 4 runs on 2012. My first ever run was in UNILAB and it was a 3K run.  On the day of the run, weather was really bad, but we still ran and finish the race.  Then, we level up to 5k at the Adobo After Dark run.  We ran at night, and it was a pre-Halloween party  with free flowing beer and local bands after the race.
We also joined the Fun Run sponsored by Emerson (employer)  for the Haribon Foundation Million Hectare Challenge with my running mates.
Our running has improved and we join the Nike We Run 10k Manila. Proud to be a 10k finisher and it was really an achievement for me. I found extraordinary happiness in running.  In 2013, looking forward for more runs. I SAY YES TO FITNESS.

Emerson celebrated the Summer Fair at the Splash Island Resort. And i won tickets in the raffle for Paintball. woohoo! First ever to try paintball and guess who are our enemies? Its the Liebert Services boys. Had so much fun! Game face on.

I celebrated one year with Emerson together with my batchmates. We are truly grateful with Emerson  and how they take care of us. We may have issues and needs that are not being address by Emerson but still we appreciate on how they take care of us. Looking forward for more working years at Emerson and hopefully we find success in our career at Emerson.

I was about to fulfill my biggest dream this year, that is to be the next Myx VJ Search 2012. I've waited for this time and i fail it. I auditioned, i pass requirements but now knowing that it'll be that hard for me to wait for my number to be called. The line starts at 1 and i was there by 12 pm, when i get into the audition line, i am 195 already. -___- all the way straight from the shift i went to ABS-CBN and waited for 7 hours. It was past 7 that  i've decided to give up. I couldnt wait any longer, my buddy is giving up and so i've decided that it's not yet for me. Next year for sure.

Despite the stressful work and work schedule we have, we still managed to have some fun. It was my first ever out of town outing with my co-workers. We went to 100 Islands at Pangasinan. We may not be complete, but still we had so much fun.  Hundred Islands is so beautiful,  we did “Kayak” and had so much fun. In which we are not prepare with the sun and so we ended up like shrimps and crabs. Crap! haha! Looking forward for another out of town trip with my co-workers and no to beer.  HAHAHA!

We've volunteer to join at the EFS Habitat for Humanity in which we did not expect that we will do some real construction work on the site. The exciting part is we get to be partnered with some japanese students who are also volunteering in the Habitat for Humanity. Oh man, straight from shift we work like real construction workers. Our body hurts like hell and we are exposed in the sunlight the whole day. Best thing happened that day is,  dad's home now after a year.

On  July, we get to meet our Credit Manager  from US. She went to the Philippines for important matters. She stayed here for a week and she treated us on a dinner at HEAT  EDSA Shangrila Hotel.

On some time on August, it was tragic experience for Philippines due to non-stop raining in Manila. It felt like another “Ondoy” happened or even worse.  I was not able to go home due to flooded areas and I have to spend the night on my very generous friend and have to go to work that day. Surprisingly, with the division I worked for, we were just 4 who went to work that day , but it was worth it because it was double pay. Hoho! The other day, we were able to go home and flooded areas had subside already. Thank you Heavenly Father.

On August, it was our first ever out of town trip with my batchmates.  We went to Boracay for 3 days and 2 nights. It was a planned trip since May of 2012 and we’ve chosen August so that we get to unwind before our YEAR END.  We had so much fun that we had taken more than 500 photos with that trip. There are so many first.  In 2013, more out of town trips and hopefully out of the country trips.

As soon as our plane landed in Manila, I have to rush off to my cousin’s Debut wherein I had no idea where the hell is that. HAHAH! Mom and my brothers had to wait for me before we go to her debut.  She’s so pretty that night and so proud to see her grew up and became a lady. And so happy to be with my family from other side of the world. It is a very rare experience. <3 nbsp="nbsp" p="p">

And so while I was having the time of my life and everything seems to be going so well, my love life has fallen apart. Yep, I became single after our Bora Trip. I have to kept it for months before people could finally knew that I was single already and that includes my family. I will be open on what happened with my one year and a half relationship here since I want to left it behind with 2012.

I just want to clarify that there was no 3rd party involved or anything, our relationship became irrational that I lose will to fight for it. Do you ever get to the point that you get so tired? I did. The thing is, we have this long distance relationship and time difference. He lives and works in Batangas, while  I live in Cavite and work at night in Ortigas. I know distance was a never a problem when you are truly inlove. I love him and  he has been a good boyfriend. He never fails to suprises me, he cares for me a lot and makes me happy. But what I cant stand is, he is so jealous of something or to someone that shouldn’t be. I will never ever understand his point although we have talked about it a million times, I still don’t get it. We fight and he’ll tell me he’ll never do it again, but keeps on doing it all over and over. It breaks my heart. Plus, he’s not so supportive of my work schedule. He sees that working at night is a hindrance with our relationship. Although he gives me a ride to our company parties and drove me home, still he don’t approve my work schedule.  And so, I lose fight for our relationship and one day I feel like I don’t care for him anymore. Right now, we’re still friends and I’m happy with that. I just feel sorry for  his parents because they were so kind to me.
I may have been single and may have had a cold Christmas, but my family is there for me and so my friends. Thank you for all your love especially to God who has been my listener through all these.

Of course, I had a huge crush with this UAAP basketball player from Ateneo. I saw him at Mall of Asia and took a picture with him. Ever since that time,  i've always wanted to see him play and i did. I was able to watch him play live from afar at the UAAP finals at the MOA Arena.

On September, it was our Year End and had to focus on work for the whole month and with God’s grace I was able to hit my cash target. Every victory is his  and TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY.
We celebrated our Year End at the Fiamma Bar and we had to perform a dance which was really stressful since we are having our dance practice everyday after shift. And on the day of our dance, I am late and I feel bad. (sniff) And to my surprise, I received an award that night. It was “Think Customer Award” .  I thank my Team Leader, Supervisor and Manager for believing in me and for giving me this award. To God be all the praise and Glory.

On November, I turned 22. Wow, I am getting old.

On December, we’ve decided to join the Committee for the whole Emerson Financial Services Christmas Party.  It was a whole month of preparation and it was all worth it. The Christmas Party turned out pretty good and a lot of good feedbacks we got from Emerson who attended the party.

I was able to bought 2 gadgets this year,  my new blackberry 9780 and  IPOD touch 4th Gen.  And Christmas gift to myself, my dream shoes. A black Tory Burch flats. My first ever branded shoes.

In 2013, more concert, hopefully Rihanna would come and have  a concert here in the Philippines.  Will definitely buy her  ticket once it comes out. More travel in 2013. We’ve already booked for Cagayan de Oro on February and on July at Ilocos.  J  will hit the gym in 2013, yoga and zumba class. Will definitely buy my DSLR on 2013 and will get myself an iphone5. Weeeh! Maybe, I’ll finally decide whether to take my masters or start my own business.  Hopefully, could find a morning job or something like a step up on my career.
On 2013,  I’d like to serve God at my best.  Will never be afraid and will be open to ideas and opportunities.  If love comes my way, I will be open to it and maybe more active on facebook? Hahaha..  I don’t go online in facebook. I will work hard and will find time to be with the people whom I haven’t seen in years or in months.  J Happy New YEAR! Hello 2013!!!!

Why Every Woman is Beautiful

Her heart loves a rollercoaster ride.
She cries.
She laughs.
She falls in love.
Sometimes, cautiously.
Oftentimes, recklessly.
Her mind is on constant marathon.
Running.
Running Away.
Changing Pace.
Turning around.
But never stopping.
Her dreams keep on flying.
They may not reach the sky but will never ever take a dive.
Her hands touch other people's lives.
Constantly.
As if that is the reason for their being.
But most of all, every woman is beautiful because she is both steel and cotton candy and everything in between.
